I push them in deep
I twist them in farther

The metal glistens
The knife it screams
In farther they go
Deeper then any man knows

I realize what Iv done
I pull away and look at the wounds
The wounds that might never heal

I pull out the knives

The morning breaks as I awake
I bid myself goodbye
My eyes are open
My senses numb
I pull on my mask

I rush into battle
Spears are thrown
The swords are clashing
The smell is nauseating

The day is done
The battles won
I sip my rum
I have once again become:

The sun has set
I enter my tent
There he sits
My sweet imagination
Has yet again run away with me
Even though he not truly there
he sees through my false pride
Through my mask
Right through my eyes

He unveils my face
